What is the school's Charter?

This describes the Vision and Mission statements of Chelsea Primary School where the child is the heart of the matter.

What is the school's Strategic Plan?

 

This strategic plan was developed by the Board of Trustees and the teaching staff of the school, in order to provide a disciplined approach to the management of Chelsea School over the next three years. The draft plan was circulated to the parent community for comment.  Currently, we had a draft copy open for comments or suggestions.  Please email Mrs Mulcahy.

I have a child studying at Chelsea.  Have you got a current School Information Pack?

 

This links to our school prospectus.  The Information pack will outline what our school can offer you and your child(ren).  Some of the topics included are school team set-up, how we communicate with parents and students, student absence, uniform, stationery and donations/fees among others.

What is the Complaints Procedure of the school?

This links to the Complaints Policy and Complaints Procedure of the Board for Chelsea Primary School.  The Board deals with all complaints and concerns in a way that is fair and reasonable, timely as reasonably practicable, transparent, accessible, consistent, mutually communicative and compliant with the Board's legal obligations, School Charter and School Policies and Procedures.

I want to know what my child learns in his/her class.  What should I do?

​

​You can look at the Syndicate newsletter given out to your child(ren) every term.  The newsletter will outline the topics to be covered for a particular term in a given syndicate.  For an up-to-date news of what's happening in and around your child(ren)'s class, please check out the Class Blogs on our website.  The class and syndicate blogs will link to an external blog sites.​

Where can I download the current ERO report?

​

​ERO's reports on individual schools and early childhood services are freely available to the public. The current full ERO review report is available on this website ​http://www.ero.govt.nz/.  Check the following ERO Archives: 25 January 2012 and 11 December 2008. ​
